Maintenance Packages

MONTHLY & YEARLY MAINTENANCE

  • Clean your air filters for indoor unit at least once a month.
  • Clean top of indoor unit as needed to remove dust off grills, before removing filters.
  • Vacuum right side of unit where small holes are as this is the air sensor location.
  • Change batteries in remote once a year, then reset remote.

SUMMER OPERATION

  • Clean air filters for indoor unit at least once a month.
  • Clean around exterior unit and keep drain line clear of grass, leaves and etc.
  • When you switch modes for new season adjust louvers and fan to desired setting.

WINTER OPERATION

Unit will go into a defrost cycle as outdoor temperatures lower, exterior coil will coverwith white frost and then unit will shut down interior unit, you may hear a hiss, outdoorunit will defrost coil for approximate 3-5 minutes, then indoor unit will start again. This is normal.

  • Clean air filters for indoor unit at least once a month.
  • Check outdoor and keep clear of snow from bottom and around unit.
  • When you switch modes for new season adjust louvers and fan to desired setting.

  • Cleaning of indoor coils and unit, lubricate hinges, flush drain, clean outdoor coil.
  • Units should be serviced yearly if pets or smoking in home or recent renovations.

Pets, smoking or recent home renos? Servicing your unit yearly is recommended.
